Stratigen is operated by Stratigen Systems trading as Stratigen. This Privacy Policy explains how Stratigen collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when users access stratigen.app and related Stratigen services.

Who we are

Stratigen is operated by Stratigen Systems trading as Stratigen. Stratigen provides an exploration data platform for geological, drilling, logging, assay, QAQC, reporting and related workflows. The website and application are available at stratigen.app.

Information we collect

Stratigen may collect personal information such as:

  • name
  • email address
  • organisation or company name
  • role or job title
  • account login details
  • user role and permission information
  • support request information
  • contact or enquiry details
  • usage and audit information associated with platform access
  • technical information such as IP address, browser, device and login metadata where collected by the platform or service providers

This personal information is distinct from client geological and project data. Geological, drilling, assay, logging and project data is treated as client data and managed in accordance with the relevant client agreement or proposal.

How we use information

Stratigen uses personal information to:

  • create and manage user accounts
  • provide access to the Stratigen platform
  • manage user permissions and module access
  • provide support and respond to enquiries
  • configure and operate client workspaces
  • maintain security and audit records
  • improve the platform
  • communicate service information
  • issue invoices or manage commercial arrangements where applicable
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations

Client data

Client geological and exploration data remains the property of the client. Stratigen hosts, processes and supports client data only for the purpose of providing agreed services.

Client data may include drillhole data, geological logging, sampling, assays, QAQC, tenement references, PLOD data, exports, photos and related records. Client data is handled in accordance with the applicable service agreement, commercial proposal, confidentiality provisions and agreed subscription tier.

Disclosure to service providers

Stratigen may use trusted service providers such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, email, monitoring and support providers to deliver and secure the platform. These providers may include Vercel, Supabase and other providers used to operate Stratigen services.

Overseas storage and processing

Personal information and client data may be stored or processed using cloud infrastructure located in Australia or overseas, depending on the service provider, configuration and selected subscription tier.

Security

Stratigen takes reasonable steps to protect information, including:

  • authenticated account access
  • role-based permissions
  • module access controls
  • client and workspace separation
  • secure cloud infrastructure
  • restricted administrative access
  • backup and recovery processes
  • audit or export history where available

While Stratigen takes reasonable steps to protect information, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Cookies, analytics and technical data

Stratigen may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication sessions, remembering user preferences, security, analytics and performance monitoring.

Access and correction

Users may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting Stratigen at admin@stratigen.app.

Complaints
